Continuity mistake: When we see Jim Dale on the hospital trolley, you can see that he has a box under his arm, but when he crashes through the hospital doors in the next shot, the box is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Mr Carver and Ellen are in speaking in Mr Carver's office, Ellen hands him a letter to read and you can see he has put it down when he tells the patient to breathe out. A couple of shots later, he is seen putting it down again.
Continuity mistake: Watch the patient next to the man whose stomach is being inflated by the breathing apparatus. You can see that when he is reading his book, he is holding it by the bed sheets, but in the next shot he is holding the book much further up.
Continuity mistake: When the car leaves the hospital to go to the nursing home, Charles Hawtrey, Kenneth Williams and Patsy Rowlands are all in the back seat. When the car arrives at the nursing home, the chauffeur opens the door but there is no sign of Hawtrey.
