Continuity mistake: Watch the bar scene about ten minutes from the start of the film. The barmaid is holding 2 pints, but note how the froth disappears when the shot changes as they are placed on the bar.
Frenzy (1972)
Plot summary
Directed by: Alfred Hitchcock
Starring: Billie Whitelaw, Alec McCowen, Anna Massey, Barry Foster, Jon Finch, Barbara Leigh-Hunt
London is terrorised by a vicious sex killer known as the neck tie murderer. Following the brutal slaying of his ex-wife, down-on-his-luck Richard Blaney (Finch) is suspected by the police of being the killer. He goes on the run, determined to prove his innocence.
Mrs. Oxford: Woman's intuition is worth more than all those laboratories. I can't think why you don't teach it in police colleges.
Trivia: Hitchcock's cameo can be seen three minutes into the film, just after the opening credits. As Sir George espouses the virtues of a clean river, Hitchcock can be seen in the crowd wearing a bowler hat.
