Revealing mistake: When Bronson is chased up onto the rooftop by one of the gang members, Bronson pushes the guys over the edge of the building, and it is visible that it is a dummy taking the fall.
Continuity mistake: When Kersey goes into the post office and his girl is waiting in the car, Fraker and his goon knock her out and shove the car down the hill. As it goes down there is a view of the back of the car and the reverse lights are on. Then as it is about to hit the other car, the lights are now off.
Audio problem: When the policemen are beating Kersey in the interrogation room, the words that they are saying do not at all match their mouths.
Revealing mistake: Kersey shoots a man through a garbage can. As the man falls over, an undetonated squib can be seen on the far side of the can.
Continuity mistake: One car gets shot at, and bullet holes are all over it, in the sides/windshield etc., but in the car crash, tumble and explosion, they are gone.
Other mistake: Fraker's footprints are right next to each other in Kersey's bedroom. The right footprints even with the left footprints. The only way for this to be possible is if he had hopped around the room rather than walking.
Continuity mistake: Charles Bronson throws a hood off of a rooftop, when he lands on the car below he is in a sitting position. Later when the police are looking at the body the hood is laying across the top of the car.
Factual error: During the big final battle of the movie the bad guys throw around Molotov cocktails, bottles with a rag stuffed into the top of it filled with gasoline. Problem is that the cocktails explode and shatter glass, when in reality Molotov cocktails don't explode they simply smash. And on top of this the first few cocktails that were thrown at parked cars weren't even on fire, rendering them useless.
Factual error: Kern unwraps the LAW and shows the cop 2 rounds which he says can be fired from the LAW. The LAW is a use and lose type weapon, you fire it once and can't re-use it. It also does not have a handle.
Continuity mistake: Martin Balsam shows Charles Bronson a .30 cal. machine gun that is in a cabinet. Later, Martin goes to get the gun to shoot the gang members, but the gun he gets is a different kind of gun, than what was shown earlier.
