Continuity mistake: In the scene where the scouts jumped in the river, you see Bragdon and the FBI agent get in the helicopter. The the camera goes to Max in the river going downstream; he looks at his watch and puts it up to his ear because the watch broke, since he was in the water. But later in the scene, where Max is climbing up the hill and looks at the mountain they're about to climb, he looks at his watch and it's still working.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the kids are looking at the magazine, Max comes over and tells them to give him the magazine. The kids hand him the magazine while it's still open, but when Max grabs it, it's closed and he opens it again.
