Revealing mistake: Near the end when Gregory is threatening to cut out Ricky's eye with the sharp cutting knife, look at the tip. It's rounded so it doesn't cut Ricky while it's pressed into his socket. An experienced man like Gregory would never leave it that dull.
Continuity mistake: Near the end when the Chineese delivery guy pipes up and says he will go into the vault, he has chopsticks full of noodles. After the camera switches back to him, the chopsticks only have a few noodles on them. The camera switches to another person then back to the delivery guy, who is about to eat the noodles, and he has a large portion again.
Revealing mistake: When the blue record gets messed with, they decide to blow the 2nd set of explosives anyways because of impatience. It's obviously heard and the FBI guy wants to check it out. The first explosion made a dusty mess which took a while to clear. How did they clean up the 2nd explosion, and have time to put boxes in front of it before Ben and the FBI guy got down there? There was very little time in between the explosion and them getting to the basement.
Factual error: When Ben is filling in for the seizure guy, he puts 4 explosives on the ground and blows the floor out. The floor has a laser detection alarm which means the whole floor would be covered, which means he wouldn't be able to blow the floor because the alarm would go off. He also wouldn't be able to go down the hole because of the lasers.
Factual error: The way the statue is handled in the movie is unrealistic. They say in the movie that the statue is thousands of years old and has to be kept at 60 degrees to stop the decomposition from getting worse. If it was as old as they say it is, the way the handle it, without gloves or any special protection, it would crumble in their hands. You can't handle a 3000 or more year old statue that small and expect it not to break.
