Trivia: If you look between the lifts in the foyer, you can see a portrait of James Robertson Justice, who starred in the "Doctor" films that were produced by Peter Rogers' wife, Betty E. Box, and directed by Gerald Thomas' brother, Ralph.
Trivia: Before being cast as Dr Tinkle, Kenneth Williams was originally asked to play Francis Bigger as there was some uncertainty as to whether Frankie Howerd would take up the part. However, Williams became uneasy about it and the role was given to Howerd.
Trivia: This film contains a reference to "Carry On Nurse" (1959), specifically the daffodil thermometer scene. When a nurse approaches Frankie Howerd with a daffodil, he says "Oh no you don't! I saw that film!"
