Revealing mistake: During Stimpson's speech toward the end of the film, you can see that it's John Cleese himself giving his sleeve a good pull under the table, when his taped-on sleeve accidentally comes off.

Plot summary
Directed by: Christopher Morahan
Starring: John Cleese, Howard Lloyd-Lewis, Jonathan Bowater, Penny Leatherbarrow
Genres: Comedy
Brian Stimpson is a British school headmaster obsessed with punctuality. When invited to give a speech in Norwich, he misses his train. He gets Laura, one of his pupils, to give him a lift. Halfway there, he meets Pat, a former girlfriend, and gets her to drive (because Laura doesn't have a licence, and she she won't let him drive). Taking a wrong turning, their car gets stuck in a field, leaving Brian covered in mud.
Brian wanders into nearby monastery to get help. A monk offers him a bath, while another rescues the car with a tractor. While Brian is bathing, Pat drives away. Brian and Laura follow, Brian dressed only in a monk's habit. Will he get to Norwich in time to deliver his speech (and will he be dressed suitably)?
Batty
Brian Stimpson: We don't need a track. It's grass.
Trivia: John Cleese and Ann Way both starred in the Fawlty Towers episode "Gourmet Night", in which Cleese played his recurring role of Basil Fawlty and Way played the guest Mrs Hall.
