Continuity mistake: Towards the beginning when Noble Heart and True Heart are fighting Dark Heart's red dragon form, their raincoat pockets briefly disappear for a couple of shots. (00:04:00)
Continuity mistake: When Baby Secret Bear and Baby Tenderheart jump on the rainbow to leave the cloud boat, you can see their "tummy symbols", which they have not yet received. The symbols disappear as they are sliding, then when they reach the bottom of the rainbow, the symbols are given to them for the first time. (00:06:35)
Continuity mistake: When the Camp Champ tells Dawn, John and Christy to do trash duty, he tosses them three sticks and one bag. But in the next shot, three bags appear on the ground with the sticks. (00:12:00)
Continuity mistake: As Secret Bear is flattening dough with a rolling pin, Friend Bear walks over and places a sheet of cookies on the table nearby. In the next shot, Secret Bear is sniffing the aroma, but his dough and pin are now missing. (00:30:30)
Continuity mistake: When Dark Heart is first shown pretending to fix the caring meter with a crowbar, he stands near it and hums to himself. In the next shot where he busts the gears apart, several colored star buddies gather around to look over his shoulder - but instead he's now working inside the meter. (00:31:55)
Continuity mistake: During "The Fight Song" when everyone is filing out of the Hall of Hearts, Tenderheart Bear is seen trailing behind Grumpy at the front of the line. But in the next shot, notice how Tenderheart is the last one to exit. (00:48:05)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where all of the Care Bears get locked away in a cave, Dark Heart morphs into a red crocodile which has a golden key and chain hanging from its neck. But as it starts walking out of the cave, the crocodile's key and chain have vanished. (00:53:35)
Continuity mistake: In Dark Heart's cave, when all of the Care Bears are locked away in cages, one of the star buddies tries to pry open a cage's lock with its right arm. But as soon as three of the trapped Care Bears are released, the star buddy's left arm appears mangled instead. (00:55:55)
Continuity mistake: When Grumpy Bear grabs the key on Dark Heart's throne, his left arm changes color from blue to orange between shots. (00:57:25)
Continuity mistake: After Dark Heart pleads for the Care Bears to help revive Christy, Noble Heart and True Heart say "We can't." In the following shot, Noble Heart is talking, but True Heart - who is listening in the background - completely switches her color from cream to purple for a moment. (01:02:25)
Continuity mistake: At the end when the Care Bears are all swimming in the lake, Nobleheart and Braveheart go to throw the rabbit into the pool. As Braveheart comes up behind him, Braveheart has no suit on, but when he throws in the rabbit, he suddenly has it back on.
Continuity mistake: When they're on the boat in the kingdom, True Heart shoots a rainbow out of her stomach that only goes halfway into the air. But when the baby cubs slide down, it is suddenly down to the ground.
Continuity mistake: As Dark Heart is trying to capture the Bears during their party planning, he launches Cheer Bear into the air via seesaw. Onlooker Funshine Bear is replaced impossibly by another Cheer Bear, then turns back to Funshine.
Continuity mistake: When the caring meter is dropping down, after Nobleheart says something like, 'It must be Dark Heart,' the shot shows the star and heart buddies and they have switched colours. The star is pink and the heart is yellow. Then in the next shot when they go to hide behind the two kids, they have suddenly switched back to their original colours.
Continuity mistake: During the song "Flying My Colors", before True Heart catches Tenderheart and Friend cubs, Baby Swift Heart rabbit is incorrectly colored orange and is missing her symbol, and Funshine's booties are colored yellow.
