Continuity mistake: When Barbara Anne's owner comes to the door to talk to Owen, she is holding a coffee mug by the handle. The next shot shows her holding the mug on the other (non-handle) side. (00:05:50)
Continuity mistake: When the boy and his family are at the pound looking at Hubble, the man at the pound has a sandwich in his hand. The size of this sandwich changes significantly between shots. (00:11:05)
Continuity mistake: When Hubble is addressing the other dogs in a garage, on the day Owen can understand dogs, he is standing on a wooden crate. In some shots, there is a noticeable gap between the first and second piece of wood from the front on the crate. In shots from between Hubble, the gap has moved to be between the second and third piece. (00:20:15)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where all of the dogs are talking in the Garage Nelly goes under a tarp of some sort.In one shot she is going under the tarp the next she is out of the tarp.And then she is back under the tarp.
Continuity mistake: When all of the dogs are chasing the two bullies and they are jumping over the leather couch, one of the dogs goes under the couch twice between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the bullies run through the backyard open house reception they are covered in whip cream in every shot except the last one.
Continuity mistake: When 'Canid' 3942 starts his jump of fifty feet to get the ball, the ball comes from below him, even though Owen throws it from behind. It could not have bounced because it would not bounce that high.
Continuity mistake: At the end when Hubble finally catches the ball, when he is wating for the boy to throw it in the first shot his stone is up the left side of his neck , but in the next shot it's down towards the right.
Continuity mistake: When the Greater Dane first appears in the backyard she is not wearing any stone from the Homestar, but when she is on the hill with the other dogs she has it on.
Continuity mistake: When the movers close the doors to the moving van, they don't latch them properly, and the handles are obviously hanging down. In the next shot, the doors are closed properly, with the handles secured. Then the next shot, they're hanging down again.
