Continuity mistake: In the bedroom scene, Barbara Windor gets her dressing gown caught in the bed spring and has to take it off. When Sid James tries it on, he has no trouble removing it from the bed.

Continuity mistake: When Sid James jumps on the go-kart he is seen driving up a ramp on Fircombe Pier. In the very next shot he is seen passing fairground attractions and the ramp is nowhere in sight.

Continuity mistake: During the fight in the hotel, Dawn Brakes pulls down the Mayor's trousers with both hands. Dawn then puts her left hand to her mouth in shock. In the next scene, she is seen putting her right hand to her mouth and her left hand is on the Mayor's trousers.

Revealing mistake: When Barbara Windsor is fighting Margaret Nolan in the Hotel Lobby, they jump onto a sofa and it falls backwards. If you look carefully, the lady seated on the sofa can be seen helping it fall backwards with her foot.

Visible crew/equipment: When Mildred goes down stairs to get the newspaper, the clock start to chime 9 o' clock. If you look at the clock the big hand is on the 9 and the little hand is on the 12 it should be the other way round.

Continuity mistake: When June Whitfield goes to confront the Mayor, his wife Mildred answers the door, and her cigarette goes from her mouth, to her hand, then back to her mouth in between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the Mayor asks his wife to make him a cup of tea, after she has made the tea she sits down with a cigarette in her mouth, but when the shot changes the cigarette is nowhere to be seen.

Continuity mistake: When Sid is chatting to Ada Downs in the hotel reception area, Larry is seen with his arms folded across his chest, next to Sid, staring directly at Ada. In the next shot, Larry puts his hand to his mouth, but in the next shot he's back with his arms folded once again.

Continuity mistake: When Peter Potter is kissing Hope Springs on the bed and the police enter her hotel room, Peter's legs change position between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Barbara Windsor tries to run up the ramp at the end of beauty contest, her hair appears wet and dirty, but when she says "Sid! Wait for me!" just a few moments later, her hair is now clean and dry.

Revealing mistake: During the sequence when Peter Potter (in drag) is pursued by the police, Peter runs into Connie who then crashes into the gong. When Connie crashes into the gong, you can see it is not Joan Sims but a stunt double.

Continuity mistake: When Sidney is lying in his bed, waiting for his coffee, Hope Springs enters, and he is reading his newspaper. In the next shot, the newspaper is lying flat on the bed, but in the shot after that, the newspaper is now back in Sidney's hands.

Revealing mistake: When we see a view of the babies crying after Mr Bumble starts shouting after being humiliated at the plaque unveiling at the nursery, you can see the nearest baby is a doll.

Continuity mistake: When Sid James and Barbara Windsor are leaving Fircombe on the motorbike at the end of the film, you can see in the background there is a house and some fencing on the side of the road. But when we see a close up of them in the next shot, there are now trees in the background and the fencing has gone.

Continuity mistake: When June Whitfield complains about Sid James' idea of a Beauty Contest, you can see the lead on the pencil in front of Kenneth Connor is facing upwards, but when June stands up from her chair, the lead is now facing downwards.

Continuity mistake: When Valerie Leon kisses Bernard Bresslaw outside the changing room, she puts her right hand on Bernard's shoulder, but in the next shot her right hand is now on his neck.

Continuity mistake: When the girls are getting soaked and pelted with earth in the beauty contest towards the end of the film, you can see that Barbara Windsor's hair and back are covered in earth. But when we see Barbara just a few shots later, the earth has completely disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When the Admiral is using his telescope to look at the beauty contestants, you can see that the telescope has a lens at the end of it, but just a few seconds later the lens has disappeared.

Connie Philpotts: It's your girls I'm talking about, I've heard them all night long, doors banging.
Sid Fiddler: Blimey, when you've got young dollies around you have to expect a bit of banging.
Connie Philpotts: Well, I expect you to get them into bed at a reasonable hour.
Sid Fiddler: I promise you, I'll do my very best.
