Continuity mistake: In the scene where Lane, Tuff and Cody are talking about Leffow right before Lane rides there is no leather strip around Lane's neck to tie his glove on with. In the next shot he has the leather strip around his neck. (00:28:35)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Stephen Baldwin has been bucked off the bull after Luke Perry and Red Mitchell (II) said the bull was gonna spin, Perry and Mitchell switch places in the stands and then back again.
Continuity mistake: During the buckle award banquet the same extra with tan hat and coat appears behind Luke and then Cynthia at the same time.
Continuity mistake: Lane, Cody, and Tuff are talking about Charlie Sampson losing his ear. A little later in the movie, it's 1984, and Lane and Kelly are getting married...Charlie didn't lose his ear until 1988.
