Factual error: In the game at Pittsburgh, when Ruth hits three home runs, the first two were hit off Guy Bush. When he comes to bat the last time, Guy Bush is still pitching. This was not the case. Red Lucas was the pitcher, and he gave up Ruth's last home run.

Factual error: With the Boston Red Sox, Babe Ruth is seen developing a friendship with Joe Dugan. Dugan didn't sign with the BoSox until well after Ruth was sold to the Yankees.

Cubs Fan

Factual error: When the Babe calls his shot at Wrigley Field, you can see the ivy vines on the bleacher wall. The called home run shot was in the 1932 World Series, but the ivy wasn't planted until 1937.

Factual error: During the scene of the 1932 called shot pitcher Charlie Root is wearing jersey #11. He wore #12 in 1932.

Factual error: During the called home run against the Cubs at Wrigley field, the movie shows the home run flying over the fence and the basket on the outfield wall. The basket was not installed until 1970.
