Continuity mistake: When they are looking at flowers and Stifler says "Double lisianthums.", Michelle's mother turns around facing him. When it cuts she is looking in the opposite direction. (00:34:45)
Continuity mistake: When they are looking at flowers, Michelle's mother picks up some flowers and says, "Sahara and desert rose for your bridesmaid's bouquet," you can see one of the flowers change color in the following shot. (00:35:10)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the bachelor party, the gay man is talking to Michelle's mum and sits down. He then crosses his legs. The camera cuts and he crosses them again. (00:50:30)
Audio problem: In the bachelor party scene, when Michelle's dad notices the "mud" (chocolate topping) he says, "We are going to need a mop." Then Michelle's mother says, "I saw it in this closet" except that her mouth does not match up with the audio (it looks like she says "It's in here." (00:51:50)
Continuity mistake: When Stifler has the "truffle" in his mouth, there is none over his teeth. Then there is loads all over his teeth instantly. (01:07:15)
Audio problem: When Stifler is talking to Finch about how he is going to get with Cadence and does the nipple milking impression, during a good portion of the shot that is shooting over Stifler's shoulder to show Finch's face when Stifler is talking, watch Stifler's lips from the side: you can see they are moving out of sync with what we hear, it was obviously changed and dubbed over. Visible crew/equipment: Right before the wedding Michelle is talking to Jim's father about her vows. Behind them on a table there is a mirror and you can see the arm of a crew member reflected in it several times. (01:21:35)
Continuity mistake: When Stifler drives to the flower shop to get new roses, he sees the shop, slows the car, and comes to a stop while viewed from the side. The next shot is a frontal view of him sitting in the car green-screened, and all is good except that the car is moving again. The following shot then has a side view of the vehicle at a full stop. Continuity mistake: In the final scene, in the bathtub with Stifler's Mom, the amount of soap bubbles on Finch's head changes between shots. (01:33:40)
Audio problem: When Stifler is driving his car away after he wrecked the flowers, he says, "Fu**ers, it's not my fault," but it's visible through the window that he's not saying anything.
Answer: They never mentioned it, I think they just wanted us to assume that since it has been a few years they just lost touch with each other. Alot of people are no longer friends with poeple after college that they where friends with when college started.
