Continuity mistake: In the recap of the shot where Ash puts on his right glove, he puts it on differently in the movie than in the episode where this takes place. Also, the shot on the television set is an upward-looking corner view, but in the episode, it is a straight-looking side view. Additionally, Gengar is moving, but it was not in the episode. Furthermore, the controls for the volume and another one do have symbols, but in the episode, they did not. Moreover, a curtain is draped over the right side of a window with Ash not having it behind him, but in the episode, the curtain was not draped over there with Ash having it behind him. (00:01:34)

Continuity mistake: When Ash and friends are surprised when they see blue light and a shrine, Ash's right hand is past his left, but in the next shot, it is the other way around. (00:19:04)

Trivia: In the early reports when Movie 3 was still being made, there were rumors that Movies 3 and 4 were going to be interconnected, with Entei working with Mewtwo or something and then finding Celebi. Obviously, the creators abadoned this idea.

Question: Does Missingno, the infamous "Pokemon 000" glitch from Pokemon Red/Green (Red/Blue in the states) appear in this movie?

Answer: Missingno is a glitch from the video games, and is not a real pokemon, so no.
