Corrected entry: After Ben arrives, he goes outside to exterminate zombies who have been attracted to the house. There were three, the one he hit with his truck, the one on the porch, and one in the yard that looked to be wearing a leather jacket. He kills the one on the porch and the one in the yard, but he doesn't kill the one in the jacket. After he kills the one he hit with the truck and begins to walk back up the hill to Barbara, you can see him in a full, empty yard. The third zombie seemed to have disappeared.
Corrected entry: I don't see how Ben turned into a zombie. When the guys got to the house, they had to cut open the door meaning that zombie's didn't get through it and Ben was never bitten.
Correction: This is a remake of the 1968 version. In that version, people turned into zombies the moment they died. It was only in later zombie films that they brought in the whole infection story. So in being true to the original version, it is understandable that Ben turned into a zombie when he died, despite the fact that he hadn't been bitten.
Correction: It has been established that no matter how you die, unless it's via head trauma, you will return as a zombie, so it is obvious that Ben initially died from bleeding to death from the gunshot wound.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Ben gets the lever action rifle from the corpse, he cocks the lever expelling a used round and supposedly loading one more in the chamber. However when he runs down after hearing the screams he cocks the rifle again and no round is released. Meaning the gun is empty but in later scenes it fires without anyone reloading it.
Correction: No one can be sure who might have handled that rifle during the scenes in between, so maybe someone re-loaded it during that time.
Corrected entry: Towards the end of the film (after the zombies raid the house) Ben sits alone in the basement. When he turns on the radio, the date is given; late August, 1989. However, just look at the clothing in this film, everyone is wearing suits, long clothes. Tom is even wearing a jacket. In fact, when Ben goes out to kill the zombie he hit with his truck, his breath is visible, indicating it is quite cold outside.
Correction: In the scene where Cooper finds the TV and plugs it in, the newscaster mentions that the month is October.
Corrected entry: After the truck explosion in which Tom and Judy were killed, Helen fights her husband forcing her into the basement, loudly exclaiming that she wants to wait for Ben to get back. However, if Ben hadn't fallen off the truck, he would have been there when it exploded. There was no way for Helen to know that Ben hadn't been killed.
Correction: This is denial on her part - quite reasonable.
Correction: There were not 3, there were only two.
