Continuity mistake: Pa Grape has gold rings on his moustache. When Jonah and the three pirates have just entered Nineveh and are talking amongst themselves, from shot to shot his rings change from gold to black and back again.
Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie (2002)
1 continuity mistake
Directed by: Mike Nawrocki, Phil Vischer
Starring: Mike Nawrocki, Phil Vischer, Lisa Vischer, Tim Hodge
Factual error: After the VW van hits the tree stump, steam is coming from the front of the vehicle. Those vehicles have the engine in the rear. (00:05:53)
Trivia: In the biblical book of Jonah, there is actually no whale that swallowed Jonah. The "whale" is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word for a big fish by the translators of the King James Version. Because of the prominence, respectability, and the wide distribution (it is in the public domain in the U.S., but not in the U.K.) of the King James translation over modern translations like the New International Version, the "whale" is what most Bible readers think of the sea creature that swallowed Jonah.
Question: This may sound like a silly question, but who are the pirates who don't do anything?

Answer: Exactly what they call themselves. Pirates who don't do anything, they just stay home and lay around. It's from a veggie tales silly song from an older release.
Would they be genuine pirates if they didn't do anything? A pirate is basically a person who attacks, and robs ships at sea.
