Continuity mistake: In the first match we see Conan fight he kills his opponent and drops him on the ground with his back first. When it cuts he lands on his stomach. (00:18:45)
Visible crew/equipment: After Conan is set free from slavery he finds a cave where he removes a sword. When he climbs out of the cave you'll notice someone's hands near his feet pushing up his shackles. (00:29:25)
Revealing mistake: While the trio of thieves are using rope to climb up the wall of the Tower of the Serpent, we can see Valeria's and Conan's individual carabiners attached to the climbing cable apparatus (I'm providing my own screenshots for my mistake). (00:41:35)
Revealing mistake: At the Tower of the Serpent, after Conan and Subotai steal the Eye of the Serpent and also kill Doom's giant pet snake, Conan and Subotai make their escape; and when Valeria grabs the rope for her own escape, we can see the stunt cable used to lift her (I'm providing my own screenshots for my mistake). Other mistake: When Conan gathers flowers to "take to the girl", the flowers that he is holding as he mounts his camel, are very long-stemmed, and dark purple in color. In the next scene he is riding the camel and the flowers he is holding are not only very changing color as another post indicated, but they are also very fake plastic / fabric flowers. In the same scene, Conan is then seen wearing a strong of flowers around his neck, those too are very fake flowers. (01:05:00)
Continuity mistake: After Conan is captured and tortured by Thulsa Doom's men, the blood stains on his cloth change between the shots. (01:11:00)
Audio problem: When the wizard arrives with weapons and armour, he is about to trip and mumbles out loud, but his mouth doesn't move. Neither does Subotai's when he asks him, "Hey, old man, where did you get this stuff?" (01:45:25)
Continuity mistake: When Thorgrim gets the wooden spike through his body, a fist full of blood splashes on the rocks behind him. The blood is suddenly gone in some shots. (01:48:30)
Visible crew/equipment: After Conan retrieves his father's now broken sword, it cuts to Doom's temple. In some versions the first long shot is a side view of the temple, with Doom standing alone on the balcony in front of the hanging tapestry. Then, in the next long shot facing the front of the temple, there's a crew member near Doom who is dressed in black, hunched over, standing beside the tapestry, and this person is wildly gesturing to come on up, just as a high priest walks up the long stairway (before his close-up). Continuity mistake: In the scene when Conan's mother is killed, we see her using both hands to hold her sword toward Thulsa Doom and his men. The camera cuts to young Conan and he is holding her right hand. When the camera cuts back to her, she is holding the sword with both hands again.
Continuity mistake: When Valeria climbs down the ropes of the serpent tower she is twisted in the ropes. When it cuts she is climbing properly down.
Continuity mistake: Another one from the beginning of the film when Conan's mother is killed. Conan's mother is holding a sword, protecting her son. Thulsa Doom climbs down from his horse, takes off his helmet, and casts some kind of spell on her with his eyes. She lowers her sword and Doom slowly turns away, then spins quickly and cuts off her head. When the camera cuts to a longer shot, we see that Doom is about 15 feet away from her, much too far to reach her with a 3 foot sword.
Revealing mistake: While escaping from the orgy raid, Valeria stops and kills a few pursuers. However, her last strike never makes contact with the guard.
Continuity mistake: In the orgy scene towards the end, when the three companions rescue the princess, Valeria swings herself over a wall, rather noisily disturbing a hanging chain behind her with her foot. Some thief! In the next return shot to her position, however, the chain is absolutely still.
Revealing mistake: When Conan cuts his way through the orgy we first see him cut a man in his stomach region - the bag of blood hidden under his clothes. Conan then cuts another man in the neck, but blood doesn't begin to flow until that man reaches up to his neck, making it rather obvious that he has his bag of blood in his hand.
Continuity mistake: When Thorgrim has smashed the pillar it cuts and the pillar is fixed again.
Audio problem: In the first fight Conan has in the pit, his opponent starts smashing him brutally, to which Conan first responds by moaning in pain, but his mouth doesn't open and his face doesn't show the corresponding pain.
Continuity mistake: Just after his meeting with Moko (the "wizard"), Conan gets some flowers to take with him to the Mountain of Power. The color of the flowers change from scene to scene (they start out purple, but when Conan arrives at the base of the Mountain of Power, they're white/yellow) Note: this isn't a matter of Conan needing to get more flowers because of the great distance between the mounds (where the wizard lives) and the mountain of power. The scene transition from the Mounds to the Mountain of Power suggest a day's travel, and similarly Doom takes about a day to get to the Mounds from the Mountain of Power after Conan steals the princess. Flowers don't wilt and need replacing in a day's time.
Revealing mistake: Before the crucifixion scene of Conan, Thulsa tells one of the women on the cliff, "Come to me child," so they would jump off. If you watch closely you'll see, right before she hits, the pad she lands on before the angle changes. In the next shot, they then show her lying through broken wood flooring.
Revealing mistake: Obviously there are no planes in the world of Conan, yet a jetplane vapor trail can be seen in the sky above Conan's head in the "tree of woe" crucifiction scene. The exact shot when this is seen is when the camera is pointing upwards at him from the ground.
Suggested correction: It's not an inmediate shot, there's plenty of time in between for her to change the grip.
