1992's thriller, Single White Female, stars Bridget Fonda as Allie, a software developer who takes into her home and life a young woman named Hedy, who happens to want to "become" Allie and destroy her life along the way! Jennifer Jason Leigh plays the troubled woman who soon becomes clingy, unstable and increasingly violent, leading to the need to stop Hedy once and for all. While not as nuanced as, say, Fatal Attraction, Leigh's portrayal of Borderline Personality Disorder is suitably disturbing and will leave an impression.
Suggested correction: Have you ever lived in a New York apartment? I've had toilets that weren't fastened to the bathroom floor at all and was still charged 900 dollars a month in rent. It's not outlandish to think the bowl might wobble a little if the superintendent has been lazy. That elevator in the basement is still broken, after all.
Question: Why didn't the police come looking for Allie in Graham's apartment? Some detectives should've been looking for her since Sam died early that morning.
Answer: Because his body hadn't been found yet, It was still early in the morning.
Of course, his body had been found - it was all over the news.
