The Santa Clause 2

Corrected entry: When Scott falls down the stairs after trying to loose a tooth, you can easily see that the man falling is a stunt double.

Correction: You can't "easily tell" he is a stunt double. He could very easily be Tim Allen. You can't see his face or anything that would prove he is a stunt double.

I've gone through it frame by frame. It is a stunt man. Even watching at normal speed before freeze framing, the stunt double's face is visible.

Corrected entry: When the plastic Santa is preparing to duplicate the toy soldier he states that the soldier is made of porcelain. When the elves are throwing snowballs at the giant soldiers the sound is snowballs hitting tin, then when the soldier is knocked over by silly string it makes the sound of plastic, but when the soldiers fall apart, they make the sound of springs, and when the snowmobile trips them, they sound like plastic falling.

Correction: Disney might have just decided to get a little "cartoonish" with the sound effects.

Correction: Not even remotely amusing. Plus it's pretty obvious, so not valid trivia either.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Scott is home because of Charlie and they walk through the door and Lucy comes, Scott says "Lucy," before Lucy is even in the room.

Correction: Actually, if you listen carefully, Lucy yells that she is home, so they know she is entering the room.

Correction: The "wire" that you see is the rope Charlie came down on. It's visible during the whole scene.

Corrected entry: When Charlie gives the snow globe to Principal Newman, look at the bottom of the snow globe. In the closeup, the bottom changes completely.

Correction: The scene inside the snow globe changes based on who is using it. For Charlie, the scene is his street, for principal Newman, it's something else.

Corrected entry: After the elves drop the static-free tinsel on everyone, when Bernard and Curtis are discussing telling Santa about the Mrs. Claus, there is tinsel on Bernard's hair, but when shot from the side, the tinsel is not there.

Correction: The tinsel is still in his hair. You can see a few pieces in his hair. The reason that you do not see as much of it is because the light does not reflect the same in every angle making some of it visible while some is not.

Corrected entry: When the legendary characters are discussing how to get Santa Claus (Tim Allen) a wife, cupid says that he couldn't shoot Santa because it wouldn't have any effect. But, wouldn't it be much easier (and save the whole very long falling in love plot) just to shoot some random human to make them fall in love with Santa?

Correction: If it had no effect on them, then most likely it won't work for other people to fall in love with Santa from the arrows. They'd just fall in love with somebody else. Plus which they may accidentally make somebody fall in love with Santa and he doesn't like them.

Corrected entry: Throughout the whole movie Lucy doesn't notice that Scott's hair is changing color and he's losing weight dramatically.

Correction: She probably did notice. Lucy isn't the kind of girl that asks people if they're sick or sad. So she probably went and asked her mom if Uncle Scott was okay because of the changes, as she went and asked Charlie if Uncle Scott was sad.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the reindeer passes gas, Curtis puts his hands up to cover his nose before he knows it is going to happen.

Correction: If you look closely, Curtis pushes up his glasses, puts his hand back down and then Comet passes gas. After he passes gas is when Curtis fans the air.

Corrected entry: When Santa and Curtis are getting a ride back to the North Pole with the Tooth Fairy you can see Curtis being dangled by Christmas tree lights and yelling "fly higher". When they all arrive at the North Pole, Curtis is still yelling but you can see that there are no lights hanging down from the Tooth Fairy for Curtis to be attached to.

Correction: The lights are there, just as they arrive at the balcony they blink off. You can even see them laying on the floor of the balcony as the tooth fairy leaves. According to the DVD.

Bruce Minnick

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie, when Santa's sleigh is stopped over the house, Lucy waves to Comet, who is suddenly on the back of the sleigh, when he wasn't there in the previous shot.

wizard_of_gore

Correction: In the previous shot you can definitely see Comet in the back of the sleigh. You even see his antlers sticking up, behind Santa.

Bishop73

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Santa is getting married, just after they kiss and Santa looks like Santa again, you can see in the bottom left hand corner Bernard and Curtis giving each other the thumbs up. In the very next shot, it repeats them doing this again only in a close up. (02:33:00)

Neil Miller: I know you can find someone wonderful to spend the rest of your life with. Don't let the facts that you have no time, no prospects, and a paralyzingly fear of intimacy, get you down.
Scott Calvin: Have you ever helped anyone, ever?

Question: At the meeting, what did Mother Nature mean when she said "Don't mess with me Santa. I'm pre-el niño." or something like that. What does pre-el niño mean and why did she think Santa was messing with her?

Answer: By "pre-El Niño", she meant what to a mortal woman would be pre-menstrual. El Niño is "an oscillation of the ocean-atmosphere system in the tropical Pacific having important consequences for weather around the globe. Among these consequences are increased rainfall across the southern tier of the US and in Peru, which has caused destructive flooding, and drought in the West Pacific, sometimes associated with devastating brush fires in Australia."

Jeff Swanson

So she was saying she's PMSing?

Yep, that's exactly what she's saying.

wizard_of_gore

Answer: "El Niño" means "the child" so she probably meant to say "don't mess with me, I've been here since Jesus".

El Niño in the context of the line is referring to the weather event in the Pacific Ocean.
