Trivia: Samuel L. Jackson suggested that Halle Berry be given a more Fleming-esque Bond Girl name, such as "Cinnamon Buns". This was a running joke on the set.
Trivia: Although this was the last movie to star Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, his last appearance as the character with his voice and likeness was in the 2003 video game James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing.
Trivia: Whilst filming their love-making scene, Halle Berry choked on a fig and had to be Heimliched by Pierce Brosnan.
Plot hole: In the pre-title sequence, James Bond travels in a hovercraft along the dirt road, which is full of landmines. Soon after reaching the waterfall at the end, trucks drive up along the road he just drove in on to capture him. As there was only one road into the waterfall complex, the landmines must have all disappeared, as earlier on in that sequence, we are informed that the only way that the North Koreans can avoid the mines along that road is by hovercraft.
