Corrected entry: During the zombie feast at the end, there is a zombie munching away and what appears to be the remains of Steele and there is an internal organ swinging right beside her head. Watch closely, because while she's eating, she's looking directly into the camera.
Corrected entry: When Steele shoots the soldier who got bitten in the neck, while trying to collect another zombie, he shoots him in the forehead; the blood splatter appears directly behind his forehead. When the soldier's head kicks back then moves forward, we see that there is no bullet hole in the soldiers forehead. We can also see there is no bullet hole, because Steele's flashlight is shining on the soldier's forehead.
Correction: In the newest version released on DVD, it is revealed that there is, actually, a bullethole in the soldier's forehead. In the cleaned-up image, it is very obvious.
Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie, just after Rickles is torn apart by the zombies, Steele comes running towards the door that Rhodes locked. He uses his pistol to kill a few zombies, but then he runs out of bullets and puts the gun back in his holster. The slide on his pistol should be back if the chamber is empty, but it appears to be in the normal position.
Correction: He either closed the slide out of habit before he holstered it, or he had a misfire as opposed to running out of ammo.
Corrected entry: When they first make it to the mall, one of the characters is washing her hands in the fountain. In the first shot her left hand is just about clean of blood, but in the underwater shot her hand is bloody.
Correction: I think you are referring to the Dawn of the dead remake.as there is no mall in this film.
Corrected entry: In the scene where the zombies enter the bunker the soldiers get scared. Capt. Rhodes is the first one to flee - taking the electro car. next time we see him, there are zombies all around him, he actually hits one with the car. So where do the zombies come from? He must have taken a detour (there is none shown, though) or must have driven that slow, that the slow moving zombies could have overtaken him. Both most improbable.
Correction: There is a shot that shows that the zombies are escaping from the wooden holding bunker-thing. So the zombies are coming from both sides, and therefore would be in front and behind of Rhodes.
Correction: When a character, even a flesh-eating zombie, happens to glance at the camera lens it is treated as if the camera is not there - so the character is really only looking at that 'empty' area, which coincidentally is that of the camera's position. This is referred to as the imaginary 'fourth wall'. Unless the character does something to break character, when he/she looks at the direction of the camera's lens, there is no valid mistake.
