Factual error: In relation to the position of the sewage workers shadow, and the way Jason kills him, there is no way that the splatter of blood would have hit the wall the way it does. In addition the blood looks like paint. (01:27:20)
Factual error: When the captain gets his throat slashed, hardly any blood comes out. When a persons throat is cut, blood will pour out in large volumes as there is a major artery in the neck. (00:41:00)
Factual error: When Rennie and Sean are on the ladder and the toxic waste is flooding through "destroying" Jason, they are completely unscathed. There is no way there would be no splash back burning them, plus the fumes from the toxic waste which they are subjected to would have done them serious bodily harm.
Factual error: Jason stabs the druggie with the needle and it comes out the front, but his hand is only on his back and the needle isn't long enough to go through to the other side. (01:08:35)
Factual error: The amount of people on the ship is very unrealistic. Although the low number of people is to benefit the plot, there should have been cooks, waiters, deckhands, boiler room engineers, cleaners etc. (00:40:00)
Suggested correction: Well there was a deckhand and boiler room workers. As for cooks, etc, they were on a class trip taking no more than a few hours. They didn't need all that.
Factual error: When J.J. sees Jason she drops her guitar running away. The guitar then feedbacks. But when J.J. confronts Jason again he has the guitar with him, unplugged, but still we hear the sound of feedback. (00:21:25)
Factual error: Jason put Shawn's dad up against the ships wheel. Dead bodies can't stand up.
Factual error: In Manhattan, you can't just climb into a sewer tunnel. They are barricaded, meaning the only people who are allowed down there are city workers.
Factual error: When Jason pushes Julius overboard, he would have drowned within minutes. No one can stay underwater that long without drowning.
