Factual error: All swords in this movie are made from steel, and in the beginning it's said that the film takes place years before the Pyramids were built (they were built around 3200 BC). Steel wouldn't be around for 2000 more years. (00:03:50 - 00:12:40)
The Scorpion King (2002)
Plot summary
Directed by: Chuck Russell
Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Michael Clarke Duncan, Bernard Hill, Kelly Hu, Grant Heslov, Steven Brand
In an ancient time, predating the pyramids, the evil king Memnon (Brand)is using the psychic powers of his sorceress Cassandra (Hu) to fortell his great victories. In a last ditch effort to stop Memnon from taking over the world, the leaders of the remaining free tribes hire the assassin Mathayus (The Rock) to kill the sorceress. But Mathayus ends up getting much more than he bargained for. Now with the help of the trickster Arpid, tribal leader Balthazar (Duncan) and an unexpected ally, it's up to Mathayus to fufill his destiny and become the great Scorpion King.
The Sorceress: Rivers of blood can never bring peace.
Memnon: But they can bring obedience. That will suffice for now.
Trivia: When the barbarian king is about to kill Mathayus's brother, he claims he's killed Babylonians, Mesopotamians, Assyrians, Chaldeans, and Sumerians, but he's never killed an Akkadian. In fact, all these civilizations are different names for people who lived in the Mesopotamia valley throughout much of ancient history. This is probably intentional, and may in fact be an inside joke.

Chosen answer: By the way Mathayus is saying it, it sounds like he is saying as long as him or the sorcerer still breathes, either he or the sorcerer will die, but he is trying to say as long as one of the Akkadians are breathing, they will not stop trying to kill the sorcerer until he is dead.
