Factual error: When Jess arrives late at the final match, she is brought on as a substitute. Yet, the referee should know about the possible substitutes before they are brought on - he didn't even know about Jess. Jess said she wouldn't be able to make the match due to her sister's wedding. Therefore, she would have been removed from the team line-up.

Continuity mistake: In the scene of the football game in which Jess and Jules are not talking, if you watch closely, you can see that Jules' headband changes from a black fabric headband to a crisscross plastic headband.
Wedding Guest: Lesbian? Her birthday's in March. I thought she was a Pisces.
Trivia: Parminder K Nagra, who plays Jess, is 17/18 in the film - she is getting her A level results part way through the film. It might surprise you to know that she was born on October 5 1975, making her 28.
Question: Is there some reason that we are considently seeing planes fly over her house? Is that supposed to symbolize something?
Answer: I doubt it; it's probably because the film is set in the Borough of Hounslow, which is in the flight paths of many London airports, including Heathrow.

Answer: Jess' house is supposed to be on the main flight path of Heathrow airport. Her mum and dad work there.
