Factual error: Leonardo's workshop is shown with a model of one of his flying machine ideas hanging from the ceiling. This is in 1481 but Leonardo did not start his studies into flight until about 1485. (00:01:45)
Factual error: Although there is a lot of uncertainty about the painting, the Mona Lisa was painted sometime between 1505 and 1515. Certainly not as early as 1481. (00:05:00)
Visible crew/equipment: When Bruce and his partner jump from the auction house, a safety cable is visible attached to Bruce. (00:22:58)
Continuity mistake: When Bruce is being towed by the ambulance although the sheet starts ripping in the middle, the knot gives out and it becomes totally detached from the ambulance. Some subsequent shots show the ambulance with part of the sheet trailing in and some shots show it with no sheet. (00:31:36)
Revealing mistake: Gratuitous car explosions are nothing new in action films ... but this time the ambulance explodes in mid-air before even hitting anything. (00:32:22)
Continuity mistake: After climbing out the packing case, Bruce has 2 bits of polystyrene stuck to his face. In the next shot, they've moved. (00:36:10)
Revealing mistake: When Bruce is making a phone call, the glass of the phone booth is normal. Just before he swings the blond thug around into it, a pane is shown that is obviously fake - it is discoloured and not smooth. (00:47:00)
Continuity mistake: The opening voice over says it is 1481. Later it says "Exactly 500 years later" setting the film in 1981. Bruce says that, while in prison he missed seeing E.T., which was released in 1982. If it wasn't for the 'Exactly' then I'd forgive them. (00:50:20)
Continuity mistake: Just after Bruce escapes with the Codex, when he is throwing his grappling hook from one building to the next, he is not carrying his backpack with the book in it. It reappears a couple of shots later. (00:52:00)
Factual error: Bruce says his coffee tastes funny and Anna says it was the ethyl chloride in it. Firstly, ethyl chloride isn't soluble and secondly you would need much more than a sip to have any noticable effect, let alone instant unconciousness. (00:58:30)
Continuity mistake: When Anna, Eddie and Tommy are on the ground because they can't move, Anna has her arm beside her but the shot later, it is on her stomach. (01:16:00)
Factual error: When the bomb that is stuck to Snickers head explodes, the explosion starts behind him and the bomb remains intact until obscured by the smoke. (01:17:25)
Continuity mistake: When Anna is paralysed at her flat, she is wearing dangly earrings. At the castle, they've changed into gold loops. (01:18:00)
Continuity mistake: Minerva Mayflower's bow has 2 arrows sticking out of the front of it. She shoots kitkat and both arrows are gone, but then she shoots it again. (01:21:00)
Continuity mistake: When Anna and Hudson are landing after flying, you can see some kids and in one shot, a boy is jumping and another one standing up. Then once again you see Hudson and Anna and then the kids - it is the same shot when the boy is jumping and the other standing up. They show it twice. (01:30:10)
Continuity mistake: Alfred slashes at Bruce horizontally, but the cut that appears on his chest is at a very steep angle. (01:31:30)
Continuity mistake: In the castle, Bruce has blood on his arm all the way down to his hand. When he and Anna are flying down, there is much less blood that only reaches down to his elbow. (01:33:00)
Continuity mistake: When Tommy and Darwin Mayflower are in the back of the limo, Darwin dives out and the door slams immediately before Tommy has time to catch it. The shot changes to outside the limo and Darwin is just now jumping from the limo. It is not just the same shot from a different angle because this time the door stays open much longer, long enough for the limo to drive out of the shot. From this angle there would have been more than enough time for Tommy to grab the door.
Revealing mistake: Alfred's sword leaves a large dent when it gets stuck in the wood. A few shots later, the sword moves, the dent dissapears and the wood actually wobbles as if made of rubber.
Continuity mistake: During the scene where Almond Joy innoculates Hudson Hawk with a sleeping serum you can see that the plunger of the syringe was never pushed down. On top of that she doesn't even leave the syringe in enough to create the illusion that she administered the shot.
