Continuity mistake: As Laurie Danesi (Jamie McCoy) brings in Dusty's (Sam Nicotero) groceries, the sack in front has several items showing, one item appears to be a bread of some sorts. A bit later when Dusty grabs the top of the sack, the only item shown is the bread wrapper, and it is just bearing visible.
Continuity mistake: When Tom Savini rolls the car down the hill at the zombies he places a zombie body behind the wheel first, but when the car is shown going down the hill, not only is there a body behind the wheel, now there is suddenly another body on the passenger side as well.
Continuity mistake: When Laurie Danesi (Jamie McCoy) is serving coffee to Matthew Michaels (Damien Luvara), she pours him a cup. Then for some reason, she takes away the first poured cup and gives him another one. Watching closely, when the shot is behind her, she sets down the first cup on the countertop. However, instantly in the next shot from behind Matthew, the first cup is gone. It should have been visible in that shot. Then instantly back to the shot behind her, the cup is back.
Continuity mistake: During the opening undead hunt in the field, a number of undead are killed, then seen moments later 'alive' and well. Most notably is a tall undead wearing a blue T-shirt, who is shot in the head and killed at the 2:20 mark, then seen attacking the helicopter pilot where it is shot in the head a second time.
Continuity mistake: Laurie Danesi (Jamie McCoy) is waiting on Matthew Michaels (Damien Luvara), she puts a napkin and silverware down for Matthew. In the shots from behind her, the items are there, but in the shots behind him, they aren't. From the angle of the shot, the silverware and the napkin should be visible.
Continuity mistake: When Tom Savini fires at the 'lead' zombie up in the hayloft, the sound effect is of the pistol firing, but if you look carefully, the F/X maestro hits the 'clip release' and drops the clip half-way to the floor before the view changes to another camera.
Continuity mistake: In the shot from behind Laurie Danesi (Jamie McCoy), she is seen pouring coffee as Matthew Michaels (Damien Luvara) says "Come on, every town has ghost stories. So, who's this psycho?" However, instantly in the shot from behind him, she is no longer pouring coffee. The coffee pot isn't even in her right hand anymore.
