Death Hunt

Revealing mistake: When the mounties are attacking Johnson's cabin, one of the men with them crawls into a bear trap. You can plainly see that the jaws of the trap are made of rubber or some other soft material when he struggles.

Revealing mistake: Just after Charles Bronson throws his rifle across a ravine in the middle of the trackless Canadian wilderness of 1932, the film cuts to a wider camera shot that shows a modern highway guardrail fifty feet away. (Visible on AMC's full screen presentation.)

Continuity mistake: When Carl Weathers gets killed, he is on the ground with his left arm lying across his forehead. The camera cuts away to Lee Marvin who walks back from the edge of the cliff to Weathers, and in the next view of Weathers, Weathers' other arm - his right - is now across his forehead.

Sergeant Edgar Millen: Purer fact is that he's running to save his hide, and every man he killed, he killed to protect himself.
Constable Alvin Adams: What about Hawkins or Sundog or any of them? What did any of them die for, Millen?
Sergeant Edgar Millen: Johnson didn't do anything I wouldn't do if I was in his boots. If I thought the killing would stop here, I'd let him go.
