Trivia: Angus Scrim, who played the villainous "Tall Man," really was quite tall in real life, coming in at 6'4." However, the director had him wear platform shoes to make him even taller. As seen in the film, he's about 6'7", or a full ten inches taller than the average man.

Trivia: The shots of the iconic sphere flying at the camera were accomplished by having a professional baseball pitcher throw it across the set, then running the footage in reverse.

Trivia: The iconic bladed sphere presented a constant problem with lighting due to its reflective surface. Even with the lights on it cranked up to max it still didn't look sufficiently visible on camera, and no-one could figure out a solution, until they eventually brought in a specialist who took one look at the setup and yelled to the crew "You don't light the sphere! You light what's being reflected in it!"

Trivia: Despite looking quite fancy and expensive, the interior of the mausoleum was actually a fairly cheap set made primarily of plywood and marble-textured contact paper.
