Continuity mistake: After Nino Brown's crack house is blown up he has a meeting with his crew where he stabs one of his partners in the hand with his sword. when he takes it out there is blood on about half the sword. The sword didn't go that deep into his hand.

Scotty Appleton (Ice-T) gets made by one of Nino Brown's (Snipes) men and triggers a shootout in a warehouse. The Duh-Duh Man is killed. Gee Money (Payne) is killed by Nino, for once again putting his business at risk by recruiting an undercover cop. Nick Peretti (Nelson) and Scotty capture Nino and beat him up on the streets, while being cheered on by the pedestrians. The woman Nino had shot to prove his loyalty was Scotty's mother. Nino gets only a year in prison, but outside the courtroom, the Old Man shoots Nino, and he falls to the bottom floor of the building. Scotty and Nick walk off without any reaction what so ever.

Nino Brown: I'm not guilty. You're the one that's guilty. The lawmakers, the politicians, the Columbian drug lords, all you who lobby against making drugs legal. Just like you did with alcohol during the prohibition. You're the one who's guilty. I mean, c'mon, let's kick the ballistics here: Ain't no Uzi's made in Harlem. Not one of us in here owns a poppy field. This thing is bigger than Nino Brown. This is big business. This is the American way.
