Visible crew/equipment: When the Szalinski brothers and their wives are shrunk, they run into a cockroach the size of a sofa. They hide behind some structure with a nut on it. A boom mic is visible in the top-right corner for a second or so.

Cundey, an award-winning cinematographer who has worked on classic films such as "Halloween," "Back to the Future" and "Jurassic Park," was personally approved by star Rick Moranis for the job. However, Cundey learned that he wasn't particularly fond of the directing process, and chose to go back to being a cinematographer after the film's completion.
