Factual error: A girl is playing with a Tamagotchi virtual pet in the scene set in 1994, but the toy was not released in Japan until 1996 (it wasn't officially available in the USA until May 1997).

The Blair Witch Project (1999)
Ending / spoiler
Starring: Joshua Leonard, Heather Donahue, Michael C. Williams, Bob Griffin
Heather and Mike hear their friend Josh moaning and groaning. After following the sounds they find an old abandoned house. After following Mike into the basement of the house Heather finds him, standing in the corner, looking away from her. Heather is attacked by something to her left or behind her and drops the camera. The broken camera remains rolling until the end credits.
Michael Williams: I could help you, but I'd rather stand here and record.
Question: Why is it that we never see the Blair Witch? Also the cover is very convincing that this is a true story. Is it?

Answer: The Blair Witch does not exist. The reason you didn't see is it is an abstract concept. What you can't see is scarier because you make her up in your own mind. It is a complete hoax of a story. The three actors have been doing many other acting jobs since, especially Heather and Josh.
