Revealing mistake: When the tennis balls pop out of the tubes at Schneider, you can clearly see a hole cut into the bottom of each tennis tube. (00:33:15)
Continuity mistake: When the basketball shoots out for Schneider it is brown, when it hits him in the head it is white, and when it lands on the floor it is brown again. (00:33:30)
Visible crew/equipment: When the balls are all bouncing of their shelves, there is one closeup of three balls, one basketball that bounces off, then two white footballs which roll off the shelf. You can clearly see a wire attached to one of the footballs. (00:33:50)
Visible crew/equipment: When Schneider is being dragged along by two skipping ropes you can clearly see two wires attached to his shoulders which are actually pulling him along. (00:34:10)
Continuity mistake: When Jesse and Lisa first arrive at the boiler room factory, Jesse says to Lisa "How long has it been closed down?" And then Lisa replies. To the left of them you can see a large machine, which Jesse and Lisa are standing well away from. But as the shot changes, they are now standing right beside the machine. (00:42:20)
Continuity mistake: When Lisa's mother turns off the light you see two guys wearing blue shirts standing outside. When they see the light turns off they turn around. When it cuts they turn around again. (00:50:00)

Other mistake: When Freddy puts his claws through Grady, not only do thy go through him, they manage to go well past the door. There is no way Freddy's claws are that long. (00:57:20)
Suggested correction: Since when can't Freddy exaggerate anything to aid his killings?
Revealing mistake: When the sausages catch fire at the party, you can see the flammable liquid surrounding and covering them. (01:00:45)
Continuity mistake: When Freddy is about to strike Lisa you see him raise his hand high up. In the next shot his hand is in face level only. (01:12:20)
Revealing mistake: When the iron poles catch fire you can see the fluid which burns. (01:14:35)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie when the bus is driving through the desert, there are almost no passengers in it even though it was half full before. (01:18:50)
Revealing mistake: At the end of the film, Jesse and Lisa react way too early to Freddy bursting out of the girl sitting behind them. (01:18:52)
Plot hole: When Freddy takes over Jesse's body at the party, there are several people watching through the patio doors when he confronts Lisa. None of these people ever make a sound, even when they see Lisa have a knife fight with a horribly disfigured man with long knives coming out of his fingers. The other party goers are completely oblivious to Freddy's presence until he comes jumping through the glass doors.
Revealing mistake: Freddy bites Lisa on the leg. When she starts to kick him, you can see it's Lisa's stunt double.
Continuity mistake: When Jessie meet Freddy for the first time you see no light on Freddy's face. But when it cuts there is light around Freddy's eyes.
Revealing mistake: When the bird is flying around acting crazy, both lamps get knocked off the tables, yet the room stays lit up.
Continuity mistake: Lisa's shoes change between white flats and white sneakers at different points during the last few scenes.
Continuity mistake: In the start of the movie, depending on the scene, the words on the bus change between "schoolbus" and "school bus".
Continuity mistake: After Schneider is tied to the showers he is stripped and we see him being smacked with towels across his bare butt. When the last towel hits him there is shot of him writhing in pain and he's still wearing the black leather pants he had on earlier.
