Continuity mistake: Martin covers the girl with a blanket in the "evening" while the boy is chasing the fireflies. It is never cool enough in GA during the season of fireflies to warrant a blanket. Never. Unless there was some weird and unexplained weather phenomenon. (00:56:00)
Revealing mistake: Near the end of the movie, when Malcolm's partner pulls out his gun and Lester shoots him, the bullet hole in the wall appears before the bullet wound in Paul Giamatti's arm.
Nolan: Now lets say you walking down the street, strutting yo stuff, and someby yells out and screams "Hey baby! Why don't you back that thing up and show me whatcha got and whatcha gon do?"
Big Momma: I'd say imma size 10, and I'm about to cram it up his boney ass.
Trivia: The disgusting food that Big Momma makes for Trent and Sherry is exactly the food that is visible being made in the movie "Nothing To Lose", where Martin Lawrence first enters a restaurant with Tim Robbins in the desert at the start of the movie.
Question: When Malcolm was hiding in the shower there was a window on his left - why didn't he use it to escape?

Answer: He tried opening the window, but it was stuck. He could also not have gotten through the window without making noise and being discovered. He just wanted to get out of the room without being seen.
