Continuity mistake: At the table of the Italian cardinals, Lawrence calmly paraphrases Cardinal Tedesco's claim that the next Pope should be from Italy. Sergio Castellitto drinks from his glass, out of focus in the foreground. He then distances the glass from his lips, fully extending his arm. However, in the reverse shot, his glass is still close by. (00:25:10)
