Plot hole: The first scene at Area 51/55 shows Rex Strickland operating an acid 'shower' that will be the key for the movie finale. Venom is not present at this scene but knows exactly how this never-before-mentioned or shown Chekhov acid works and that Strickland is the one guy with the necessary clearance to use it.
Deliberate mistake: The movie reprises the mid-credits scene of Spiderman: No Way Home. However, it's a reshoot, since the delivery of the lines and the flow of the conversation are different, and so is the way Eddie returns to the SSU from the MCU. Instead of dissolving into thin air on the spot because of Strange's spell (like everyone else), here he gets violently sucked in by a portal. Also, in No Way Home, he was leaving behind a seedling of his symbiote on the counter of the MCU bar, but in this movie this happens in his own universe.
Continuity mistake: During the drink-mixing sequence, the ice in the glass keeps changing position between shots. When, at the end, Venom pours the content of the mixer, it spills out, leaving the top half of the glass empty and mostly transparent. However, a second later, the glass is full to the brim with thick fluid.
Continuity mistake: When Venom fixes themselves a drink while singing "Tequila," Tom Hardy's right hand holds the mixer in different positions in each shot.
Continuity mistake: When Eddie and Martin meet for the first time in the woods and they are having a conversation, Rhys Ifans wears his necklace with the pendant above his clothes in the majority of the shots, except the ones when the camera is focused on Tom Hardy and he is facing left. In those shots, the pendant is under the T-shirt.
