Factual error: Rocky buys and drives a Trans Am. Later, we find out that he can't read after his commercial goes horribly wrong. He couldn't have a driver's license because he would need to pass the written test first. You can't take the test if you can't read the questions or the driver's manual for that matter.

Suggested correction: It's not that he can't read at all, he just reads slow and has some trouble. It may or may not be enough to hamper him from taking the test. But is it ever established that he has a driver's license? He wouldn't be the first person in Philadelphia to drive without a license.

When you can't tell the difference between simple words like rat and cat, there's a pretty good chance you can't pass a written driver's test, which is why I said he "couldn't" have a license.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Rocky is proposing to Adrian at the zoo, there are clumps of snow on his right shoulder. When he leans in towards Adrian to pull back her earmuff, the snow is gone. When he goes to kiss her, the snow reappears. When they walk out arm in arm, the snow disappears again. (00:14:15)

Employment Manager: Can I be honest? No one's going to offer you an office job. There's too much competition. Why don't you fight? I read somewhere you're a very good fighter.
Rocky Balboa: Yeah, well, was ya ever punched in the face 500 times a night? It stings after a while, ya know.

Answer: The exact date of the rematch between Rocky Balboa and Apollo Creed is never mentioned, however it is known to have taken place in November of 1976. Rocky, Jr. was born on November 5, 1976. It is not clear how long Adrian was in a coma after Rocky, Jr.'s birth but it can be assumed to be at the very least several hours. It could be as long as a few days. It's long enough that several people tell Rocky he should go home and get rest but he refuses. So at the most, Rocky only has about 3 weeks to seriously train for the fight assuming the fight is held at the very end of November. If the fight is closer to the beginning of November, it could be as little as a few days.

The fight was on Thanksgiving. Apollo says it in the press conference.
