Continuity mistake: The waitress picks up a glass from the left side of Alice's plate and pours wine. The waitress moves her arm halfway past Alice's plate to put the glass back. The camera suddenly switches angles, and the waitress places the glass on the right side of Alice's plate. The waitress leaves, and the glass is to the left of Alice's plate. (01:13:00)
Continuity mistake: Alice places her purse on the table, to the right of her rolled napkin. While Alice moves a chair on her left side, her purse and napkin are suddenly at the edge of the table. The glass to the left of Alice's plate is closer to Max's plate, and Max's napkin is rolled more loosely. Alice sits at the table, and the glass is back to being next to her plate, but not in front views of Max. (01:12:10 - 01:12:32)
Continuity mistake: The napkin to Max's right on the table touches (or almost touches) his plate. Alice arrives and there is about a 2" gap between Max's napkin and plate, with the napkin (and wine glass) closer to the right edge of the table. (01:11:45 - 01:12:13)
Continuity mistake: In rear views of Alice at the outside table, the lemon slice atop her glass is on the right side, but on the left side in front views. Also, in front views, there is an obvious red cherry floating opposite the lemon slice and her drink has a darker red tint. The angle of her straw varies with front versus rear views. (00:42:15)
Continuity mistake: Max and Alice have about equal amounts of wine in their glasses (less than half-full). Alice takes a drink and the levels of wine are still about the same, but Alice's glass has more when the camera shifts. (00:05:40)
Continuity mistake: The positions/angles of the cell phones on the table change. (Max and Alice each have one hand on a wine glass and the other below the tabletop.) Most noticeable is Max's phone, which moves a couple of inches towards the edge of the table. (00:05:40)
Continuity mistake: Alice stands in the doorway on her way to the elevator. In the front view of her, a long fern leaf extends to the inner edge of the door frame. In the rear view, the fern leaf's long tip extends a couple of inches into the doorway. (00:02:40)
