Factual error: When Willie's wife drives Jerry to Indiantown to meet up with Willie, she mentions that they are entering the town and he asks if that is where Willie is from. The camera pans to a local house. There are 3 vehicles in the background: a 7th generation Nissan Maxima, which was not released until 2009; a 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro facelift, which was not until 2014; and a naughties American SUV. According to the movie, that scene is supposed to be circa 1995. (01:26:09)
The Burial (2023)
1 factual error - chronological order
Continuity mistake: In the airplane, Willie Gary uses his fingers to take fruit off his plate. His fork is parallel to the edge of the table and sits underneath the far side of his plate. Willie raises his hands and "talks with them" a lot, shows no indication of moving his fork, but his fork is perpendicular to the edge of the table and sits atop his napkin. (00:40:43)
Hal Dockins: I mean, Jerry's a... a dream client. He's got a great narrative. He's a war hero. A decorated war hero. He served in World War II. He was, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross... for service for his country.
