Trivia: Fabian Marta, one of the patrons who helped crowdfund this film, was ironically arrested and charged with child kidnapping in August 2023. Additionally, Tim Ballard, on whom this film is based, stepped down from Operation Underground Railroad in the same year after receiving multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.
