Deliberate mistake: Ryan was cooking venison (deer meat) in a pan over hot coals. He speared a piece with his knife and held it up for his young son, Billy, to take, which Billy did with his fingers. But did not get burned or show any signs that the meat was hot. Billy was even able to take a bite of the meat. The meat could not have cooled off that fast, even outdoors in jacket-wearing weather. Revealing mistake: Neither driver, Justine, nor passenger, Billy, were visible in the car when it got spun around by the Jeep. Even if both got bent over from the impact, the upper parts of their bodies should have been visible as they were both erect in their seats when the man opened the door to check on them. Also, the car doors were so smashed in that the man should not have been able to open the driver's door (at least not without some force or "Jaws of Life"). (00:19:25 - 00:19:57)
