Revealing mistake: Obvious use of a "green screen" when Elvis and Dylan are sitting on the steps in the stairwell. The five distinct steps that could be seen behind them become a gray wall and the blue handrail posts to the right of the screen become oddly grouped, appearing to be parallel to the right side of Elvis' shoulder/back. 1 revealing mistake
Directed by: Romuald Boulanger
Starring: Mel Gibson, William Moseley, Alia Seror-O'Neill
Genres: Thriller
Plot hole: *SPOILER* Near the end of the movie, Elvis said, "And, of course, we warned LA and Pasadena's PD in advance [of what they would be doing on-air]." In light of the public's outrage over the 10/30/1938 "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast (reporting an apparently believable but fabricated Martian/alien invasion) plus the sheer number of emergency calls that listeners could be expected to make during the course of Elvis' live radio broadcast, police would not be likely to "go along with" his plan. Elvis Cooney: What kind of a B-grade movie is this? (01:17:02)
Trivia: Although the ages of the Cooley family members are not revealed, Mel Gibson ("Elvis") is 67-years-old (DOB: 1/03/1956), Nancy Tate ("Olivia") is 52 (DOB: 8/25/1970), and their movie daughter "Adria" (played by Romy Pointet - age/DOB not available) is supposedly 5. ["Typical" Hollywood movie family?].
