Plot hole: Mayor Brady told the Sheriff, "We're a tight-knit community with a resistance against change and outsiders, and you're both..." It sounds as though the Mayor deliberately hired the Sheriff ("which is why we brought you in"), but Sheriffs in North Carolina are elected officials. Justin would have had to get his name on the ballot and the community members (who didn't like outsiders) would have had to vote him in (wanting change), believing this outsider was the best person for the position. Continuity mistake: While on-stage addressing the crowd at the Apple Festival, Vivian's long hair is in various positions. On her left side, a long section is in front of her initially, then in back. On her right side, her hair is either distinctly split (some in front, some in back) or flows around her shoulder/side. (00:09:43)
