Factual error: When the Allosaurus bent over to pick up her egg (which was almost touching a newly-thrown hand grenade), the hand grenade exploded only toward the right of the screen, engulfing the dinosaur. A hand grenade would/should explode in all directions. (01:19:30)

Continuity mistake: When the dinosaur escaped from the truck, the truck was either facing in the opposite direction or the cement (?) structures that were on the passenger's side became a grassy hill with trees. (The steering wheel shows the direction the truck is facing and the doors swing backwards). (00:03:50)
Trivia: The army officers estimated that the Allosaurus had a territory measuring about the same area as that of wolves, or roughly the square miles of Rhode Island. Rhode Island is nicknamed "The Ocean State" [also, "Little Rhody"]. "The Island State" would not be an appropriate nickname because Rhode Island is not an island... but it does have four islands. As the smallest U.S. state, more than 220 Rhode Islands would fit into the second-largest state, Texas.
