Continuity mistake: The protagonist is puzzled by the sight of many people looking at the sky. When she decides to pull over and figure out the reason, the kids that were playing soccer in the lawn have changed position between shots. A much bigger inconsistency happens a minute later, when the eclipse obscures the sky (with a rather lo-tech effect that borders on being a revealing mistake itself), the kids have stopped playing ball, but in a longshot they are still shown playing.
