When her dad took her inside to go to his studio, Esther was wearing blue ribbons in her hair and had on different clothes. Esther did tell her dad that her dress was ripped, but the flow from outside to the studio did not give the impression that they stopped somewhere in the house for Esther to change before going to the studio. Continuity mistake: The boy seated in Dr. Segar's waiting room had about 1.5" bangs, but when he was peeking in the door to see what Esther was doing, his bangs were much shorter (maybe 0.5"). A little later, the boy's bangs were back to their earlier length. (00:31:58 - 00:32:47)
Continuity mistake: The detective put an ice cube in his glass, poured alcohol to about half-full, and squeezed in a little lemon juice. He took a sip while walking to his desk. When he set the glass down, the glass was filled to a higher level (about two-thirds full). (00:52:40)
