Deliberate mistake: Earl attended the "2005 National Daylily Convention." The wording is not accurate, perhaps for purposes of brevity. There is no "National Daylily Society", but there is an "American Daylily Society." Likewise, there is no "National Daylily Convention", but there is a "National Convention for the Daylily Society." Earl Stone: Are you sure you're Mexican? You're acting like you're under The Fuhrer or something.
Trivia: "Tata" (Spanish) translates to dad or daddy. Leo Sharp, the real 90-year-old drug mule working for the Sinaloa Cartel, as well as Earl Stone [Clint Eastwood] in the movie, were called "El Tata." In some languages, "tata" translates to Grandpa.
