Continuity mistake: In the dressing room scene just before Mr. Albee's visit, as Jerry Cohan is talking he wraps a scarf around his neck. He leaves one end outside of the dressing gown, but in the next shot, both ends are tucked in.
George M. Cohan: My mother thanks you, my father thanks you, my sister thanks you, and I thank you.
Trivia: During production, James Cagney broke a rib whilst filming a dance scene. In spite of the injury, he still managed to complete the sequence.
