Revealing mistake: At first glance, the cow at the start may have looked real, but its limited mouth movement while eating grass (without any grass being pulled out) indicates it was a mechanical cow. The cow also did not move its rear end or raise its head when Fenn and Geary approached and stood right behind it. A real cow would not stay in the exact same position (motionless) that amount of time. The cow's "fur" also did not look real. (00:02:50 - 00:03:24)

Continuity mistake: When Fenn finds the doll in the tree trunk cavity, shadows are cast in several different (contradictory) directions. If Fenn's shadow was in front of him, he was walking west toward the dead tree; north would be to his right. Examples: The tree's trunk and one branch were casting shadows to the south moments earlier and Geary and the tree were casting shadows to the northwest a little later. Geary's shadow was cast westward when Fenn took his photo with the doll. (00:04:28 - 00:06:47)

Factual error: The crow (mechanical at least in part) perching atop the dead tree lacked some details/behaviors that would've been displayed by a real crow. Its tail should have been thinner and longer (not short and wide, although they do fan). It would have repeatedly cawed upon noticing Geary and Fenn approaching to alert family members of potential danger. It would not have straightened its head to watch the men; the dominant eye would be used to see better (monocular vision is better than binocular). (00:04:40)

Father Hagan: When God builds a church, the devil builds a chapel next door.
Gerry Fenn: I never thought that I would hear a Catholic priest quote Martin Luther.
