Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie when Wayne is driving to Cassandra's music video there are a lot of cars right before the policeman pulls Wayne over to spoof Terminator 2. But all the cars are driving behind him and next to him are gone when the pulls Wayne over.
Continuity mistake: When Wayne, Garth, Cassandra and Benjamin are at Benjamin's apartment, The level of Cassandra's champagne when she is standing out on the balcony is low. Cassandra then walks inside and sits on the sofa, where the level of champagne in her glass is higher, without anyone giving her a refill. (this is from a video viewing)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Wayne and Cassandra are driving to the music store to buy the guitar, Cassandra crosses her legs in the car and you can see that they are bare. When they get to the shop, she is wearing pants.
Continuity mistake: When Wayne and Cassandra are driving together, Wayne's hands are at the 10 and 2 positions on the steering wheel, visible over the dashboard. However, the views from the driver's view out the windshield do not show Wayne's hands on the wheel.
Continuity mistake: When Garth is holding the air ratchet gun, he's facing to the left. However every time the camera shot goes back to Wayne, Garth is in the background instantly facing the car. Then when it cuts back to Garth, he's turned 90 degrees again.
Answer: There was a series of commercials for a mustard called Grey Poupon in the late 80s and early 90s. It usually involved someone driving up next to a limo in a cheaper car, rolling their window down and asking them "pardon me sir, do you have any Grey Poupon?". Then the richer man in the limo would say "certainly" and pass it to the guy in the other car. They were incredibly stupid commercials and wayne's world makes fun of them.
