Revealing mistake: After Adam and Barbara warp their features to look like strange bird-like characters, Beetlejuice attempts to get Lydia to release him. While this is happening, the movie cuts back to Adam and Barbara as Adam says, "But Barbara, honey, it's too late. We have to go through with this" Look at his eyes that are supposed to be dark pits; you can see the black see-through material used to conceal the actor's eyes.
